My Story
14 years ago I began a financial journey beginning with the basic premise of wanting financial freedom. Now, financial freedom can mean different things to different people, but for me, the goal has always been crystal clear. Unfortunately, how to arrive at financial freedom has not always been so clear. And although the road has not always been easy and definitely not in a straight line, the general direction has been due North. This blog is a window into that journey. I offer a behind the scenes view of my perspective, approach, mentality and habits. Think of this blog as an ongoing “Day In The Life” tale of an ordinary, boring millionaire.
Expertise
Personal finance is an intimidating topic. It’s not something people discuss typically, so learning from others is very hard. To learn from those close to you would require an openness and vulnerability most wouldn’t be comfortable with. There are of course the experts, but sometimes that can be a frustrating pathway to learning as well, given how inferior it can make you feel and the complex nature of the subject matter. I believe my expertise is bridging that gap between the everyday millionaire and the experts. Because of my unique story, blue collar job and simple lifestyle, my story is replicable for anyone.
